About MINT Digital
Why MINT exists
Most people are never taught how money works: how to budget a salary, why inflation matters, what a T-bill or a share actually is. MINT explains these things in plain language, with examples from everyday life in Ghana.
Meet Abena
Abena is our illustrated money tutor. She is a character, not a real adviser. She appears across the site to introduce lessons and share simple tips, so that learning about money feels friendly.
Classes
The lessons and tools on this site are free. We also run small paid online classes, in cohorts, where people build their own money plan with a tutor. You can read how they work on the classes page.
Public education, separate from MINT Club
MINT Digital is the public education platform. MINT Club is a separate community of like-minded individuals. Using this website does not enrol you in the Club.
Education, not advice
MINT Digital is an education platform. We do not sell investment products, manage money, pool funds or tell you what to buy. When we mention a company or product, it is an example, not a recommendation.
How we produce content
Every lesson is written in plain language, checked for accuracy, and dated where it uses rates or figures. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.
